Reservoir Control and Production Operations
Managing an entire oil or gas production field requires information about the production from each of the wells, coupled with assessments of geological data and previous operational decisions, Reservoir engineers, working with production operations, make decisions on whether to add new wells, cut back the porduction from some wells, or assess the value of secondary injection. The RtPM system, by providing consistent production information across the entire reservoir, is a vital part of production operations. |

Lab Quality Data Integration
RtPM systems have standard interfaces to lab information systems (LIMS) to automatically gather and store lab data, compare it to production data, and trend the data on web-displays alongside actual process and/or planning data. |

Pipeline Leak Detection Support
RtPM collects data from all the available sensors on pipelines, and makes this data available to leak detection software applications from various providers. These applications can provide more or less sensitivity to leaks.
